School's out . . . FOREVER!!

So some of you may not know that I have decided not to teach preschool again. I might change my mind if I ever put my kids in public school, but for now, it is too much to add to my responsibility of raising and teaching my children. I love teaching preschool--but it is so much better when you don't have a (will be) six year old complaining and acting out the whole time. He needs so much of my attention right now, and that is my main purpose in life--to raise these kids. So with much sadness, I won't be teaching again, for a long time. I know though that the path that I have chosen is the right one for me at this time. Besides, I don't think I could have done it with two, two-year-olds in the mix! Believe me when I say that these twins are just getting harder :) So here are some pictures from our graduation. I love these kiddos! Luckily they are all in my ward so I will still get to see them grow up!
Turner--always giving me some type of goofy face!

Max excited to be d-o-n-e!

My little group reciting the pledge--I start them out young!

Turner reciting his nursery rhyme. It was "little boy blue"

Alice the Camel!

Max reciting his nursery rhyme--with his finger up his nose! Despite his poor choice of finger placement, he did a great job with "there was a little girl."

I went to visit a farm one day, I saw some ducklings across the way, and this is what I heard them say "quack-quack-quack!"

Here is the group with their diplomas! Such cuties!! Love them!
I honor of my preschoolers "flying away to new heights" I wanted to post  some pictures of when we released the butterflies that we watched from tiny caterpillars. We were lucky that one of the butterflies let each child hold him/her. I love butterflies, and they have taken on a whole new meaning to me lately through this quote: “Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.” – Anonymous

I can't wait to see what beautiful people all these darling children will turn into someday. Especially the four that I call my own!

  1. What awesome pictures!!! The butterfly is amazing. I'm sure you will be a fantastic home school teacher and your kids will be very blessed by that. Best of luck!!
